POSTERS warning against dog fouling and flytipping in the Sudell area of Darwen have been ripped down.
Ward councillor Roy Davies printed and laminated the signs as part of his crackdown on mess in the Industry Street area, and put them up on Friday.
When he returned on Monday, they had all gone.
He said: “Not one remains — they’ve all been ripped down.
"But I’ll be back, putting more up. I won’t be deterred.”
Coun Davies has also organised for plants to be installed in the gated back streets of the ward.
He was helped by children at Sudell Primary School and St James’ Primary School.
