A BUSINESS which manufactures electric golf trolleys has been handed a funding boost before seasonal demand picks up.

Barrowford-based Greenhill Technologies will use the extra £250,000 overdraft from Nat West to increase stock levels before the peak of the golf season this summer.

Greenhill, of Factory Lane, manufactures all its products in East Lancashire.

The firm was founded in 1991 and now produces six types of trolley, which are sold across the UK and Europe.

Managing director Philip Kyle said: “It’s very important to have sufficient working capital in place ahead of the main summer season.

”Then we can continue to supply our stockist network throughout the UK and Europe."

Greenhill is owned by Standel Dawman, which is also based in Barrowford.
