SIX staff from a Ribble Valley hotel are celebrating after successfully completing a prestigious industry management training course.

The employees at Stanley House Hotel, Mellor, have completed a City and Guilds accredited Welcome Host Gold training course.

Joy Faith Parker, Adam Wilkinson, Giovanni Re, Emma Eccleston, Ben Bull, and Robert Flanagan, improved their customer service skills and knowledge of the tourism, leisure and hospitality industry.

Philip Wharton, general manager at the hotel, said: “We constantly strive to deliver the highest level of service at the hotel and want to make sure that our team is equipped to deliver the very best in customer service by investing in courses such as this.”
