A PERSISTENT thief who was made subject to an anti-social behaviour order in Burnley in 2007 moved to Blackburn and carried on regardless.

Blackburn magistrates heard that since he moved ‘over the border’ Lloyd McMillan had appeared in court 19 times, 17 of them for shoplifting.

And they imposed another Asbo on McMillan banning him from entering any self-service store in Blackburn.

McMillan, 24, of St Peter Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to theft from Debenhams and Marks & Spencer.

He was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months and made subject to community supervision for 12 months with a nine months drug rehabilitation requirement.
