Darwen wife killer loses his bid for parole
A DARWEN man found guilty of killing his wife in France has lost his bid for parole.
Robert Lund had asked the French court to be released ahead of a third trial early next year, but the request was turned down.
The 57-year-old’s conviction for killing his second wife Evelyn, 52, was quashed after a breach of procedure at his previous trial, in 2009.
