VANDALS caused £300 damage to a taxi following a row in a supermarket car park.

Police said four men were involved in a row on the Sainsbury’s car park, Moor Lane, Clitheroe, when a blue Toyota Avensis was damaged, on March 27, at around 3.20am.

Sergeant Gary Hennighan, from Clitheroe Police, said: “The two offenders have got into a verbal altercation with two males, who then returned to their taxi to try and get away from them.

“The offenders have then approached the taxi and started kicking the taxi, causing damage to the rear nearside panel and rear lights.”

Both men are white, aged around 18 to 20 years old, and of medium build.

The first man is described as 5ft 4ins to 5ft 6ins tall, and was wearing a green shirt.

The second man was 5ft 6ins tall, and was wearing a black shirt.
