STAFF at Pendle’s social housing landlord are to star in a BBC One fly-on-the-wall documentary series for the second time.

Housing Pendle will feature in Neighbourhood Watched 2, which provides an insight into the work of housing officers and the tasks they undertake to help tenants.

Employees at the company starred in the first series of the show, which attracted more than 2.3million viewers for each of the four episodes.

They will feature again alongside fellow North West associations New Charter and Aksa.

In series two, the cameras follow officers Lee Barrett and Sandra Procter as they go about their business helping Pendle residents.

Housing Pendle’s executive director Ian Clark said: “It was a bit of a leap of faith to get involved with the first series but we are confident in the level of service we provide to our customers and we’re proud of what we do.

“We had some excellent feedback from tenants, and from other associations in the sector, as it helped everyone get a better understanding of what our housing officers do on a daily basis.

“We’re hoping that series two will be as well received.”

The first of the new four-part series airs at 10.35pm on Tuesday.
