THE M65 was closed for almost an hour this evening after a four-vehicle smash.
The Tesco delivery van, Hyundai Coupe, Fiat Cinquecento and Volkswagen Bora collided near junction five, Blackburn, on the westbound carriageway at about 5.25pm.
Two people were taken to hospital.
However, their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Police closed one lane of the carriageway while the vehicles were removed.
The motorway fully reopened at 6.10pm.
