A ROMANIAN woman who took gold items worth £1,200 from a Clitheroe jewellers has received a suspended jail sentence.
Seina Sava, 23, of Enva Road, Manchester, pleaded guilty to theft from Nettletons in Castle Street, at Blackburn Magistrates' Court.
She was sentenced to 16 weeks’ prison suspended for one year and made subject to a curfew between 8pm and 6am for 60 days and ordered to pay £500 compensation.
Another woman is due to be sentenced at Manchester Juvenile Court.
