A 20-YEAR-OLD Blackburn man has appeared before the town’s magistrates charged with indecently assaulting women travelling on buses.
One of the alleged victims is a 15-year-old schoolgirl.
Mark John Bury, of Penzance Street, was directed to Preston Crown Court on 10 charges of indecently assaulting women and one of harassing a woman who he is alleged to have followed to her place of work.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said the offences were alleged to have been committed on buses travelling between Blackburn town centre and Mill Hill between July and December last year.
Bury was remanded on bail pending the preparation of committal papers and a condition of bail is that he does not travel by bus or train unless accompanied by his father.
