A THIEF stole £200 from a pensioner’s wallet.
The culprit knocked on the window of the house in Atham Road, Padiham, and asked the owner if he could borrow a pen and paper.
The pensioner let the man in and noticed the cash was missing after he had left.
The incident happened on Friday afternoon between 12pm and 4pm.
The burglar is described as in his early twenties, of small build and was dressed in work clothes.
