A GROUP of young boys camping out near their homes had their tent set on fire by a gang of yobs.
A passer-by saw flames coming from a patch of woodland off Milking Lane, Darwen, at 9pm on Sunday.
The 14-year-olds had been camping close to their homes when a large gang of youths aged between 12 and 16 destroyed their camp fire, set the bushes on fire and burned down their tent.
Nobody was hurt but the boys were left upset, according to Darwen firefighters who were called to the scene.
