Groups that care for children and toddlers in Chipping are beginning to work closer together for the benefit of all youngsters in the village.
The new Chipping Children's Community Alliance includes the village school's joint after-school and breakfast clubs, early learners pre-school, the playgroup and the mother and toddler group.
Work on a new multi-purpose unit, for all the groups to share, is due to begin in September at Brabin's Endowed CC Primary School.
The £165,000 project has been awarded a new opportunities grant. Further support will be given by the Brabin's Trust and other village organisations.
