A SUITE at Turf Moor named after former Burnley player and manager Jimmy Adamson has been officially opened.
The suite is in the Jimmy McIlroy Stand, and on display will be Adamson’s treasured Footballer of the Year Trophy, awarded in 1962.
A club spokesman said: “This is undoubtedly the most significant individual football award ever won by a Burnley player.”
Also displayed is Jimmy's Clarets shirt from the 1962 FA Cup final.
