A MAN who attacked his younger brother with a Barbie doll left him in so much pain he had to go to hospital, a court heard.
Adam Christopher Jackson, who was subject to a suspended prison term at the time, had set about Andrew Jackson with the toy after the pair fell out about chores.
The victim, who was struck on the elbow was treated for soreness and redness.
Burnley Crown Court was told when police arrived Jackson, 21, of Pheasantford Street, Burnley, kicked two of them after he refused to be arrested.
The defendant, who is said to have mental health issues, admitted assault by beating and two counts of police assault.
He was bailed until December 15, for a pre-sentence report.
Nick Cassidy, defending, said his client suffered from depression and had recently split up with his long-term partner.
