BURNLEY resident Tracey Knowles scooped first prize in a council prize draw.
Tracey, of Amersham Grove, won £100 in shopping vouchers after she signed up to pay her council tax by direct debit.
Councillor Peter Doyle, Burnley Council's executive member for resources, who presented the prize said: "The council is keen to encourage more residents to pay by direct debit because not only does it give them flexibility over when they pay it is also a more cost effective way of collecting the tax.
"This means more money can be used to invest in local services for the public."
