BRIERFIELD apprentice Nicola Walsh is keeping her fingers crossed after being nominated for four awards.
The 18-year-old has been shortlisted by Pendle Training, the group responsible for her apprenticeship, for the Business Admin Advanced Apprentice of the Year, the Award for Outstanding Progress and Achievement in Business Admin, Pendle Training Award for Outstanding Achievement, and Pendle Training Learner of the Year Award.
The former Colne Primet High School student, an administration assistant for security services firm Guard Patrol, on Lomeshaye Industrial Estate, Nelson, said: "I was so proud to receive all these nominations."
The winners will be announced on August 16 at The Muni, Colne.
