FLASHBACK: The lorry last week
A MAN has today been charged in connection with an arson attack on a HGV in Clayton-le-Moors last week.
Lee Bennison, 19, of Riverside View, Accrington will appear before Blackburn Magistrates today charged with arson being reckless as to endanger life.
In the early hours of Thursday, police received reports of a HGV fire on Petre Business Park, Clayton-le-Moors.
The driver of the HGV was asleep in the cab area at the time and was alerted to the fire by a group of young people who banged on the side of his cab to wake him.
