A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving a motorbike along a canalside in Blackburn.
The vehicle almost knocked over a police officer after a foot patrol was sent to the scene off Bolton Road, close to the Moorings pub, according to officers.
A short time later after 7pm on Sunday the vehicle was seen by a PCSO at the canalside near Feniscowles and three town centre officers were sent.
A 47-year-old man was arrested at the canal bridge in Finnington Lane on suspicion of drink driving, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.
