Pupils from a Colne primary school got green fingers and helped add a splash of colour to perk up the precinct.
The planters outside Colne's shopping precinct are usually looked after by Pendle Council; however, on this occasion kids from West Street Primary School took over and helped put their stamp on the town, helping it to bloom.
Coun. Dorothy Lord, Chair of the Colne in Bloom Committee, said: "The kids from the schools have done a fantastic job in helping us to spruce up the place and keep Colne blooming all year round.
"It is particularly exciting seeing all the work that has been done and the improvements it has made knowing that the 'In Bloom' judges will be very shortly visiting us here in Colne."
