ARCHIE Anthony has been re-elected president of the Rotary Club of Darwen.
Mr Anthony, a retired civil servant and IT consultant, exercised the option of staying in office for a second year and was re-elected at the town’s Masonic Hall on Monday.
His new term of office will begin on July 5.
Retired clergyman Geoff Tolley was re-elected vice-president for another year.
Mr Anthony is a former secretary of the club and served as vice-president in 2008-2009, having previously spent three years as secretary.
