THIS is the face of a sex pest jogger who is targeting women across Burnley and Rossendale.

Police are hunting the ‘good looking’ flasher who has struck seven times in parks and streets.

The culprit, who witnesses say is in his 20s, has exposed himself to eight women and a 15-year-old girl.

Police believe the man may be using jogging as an excuse to expose himself to women in the area and he could well be married or living with a partner.

Detective Inspector Simon Cheyte, from Burnley Police said, “We have had a number of similar incidents over the past three weeks and believe that we may be looking for one individual who is responsible for seven offences.

“We are very keen to get any information about this individual to prevent any further offences as this is a particularly distressing ordeal for anyone to go through.

“He is described as good-looking man in his 20s, well spoken with an athletic build.

“He has grabbed women on some of the occasions so we do not want this man to commit any more offences and gain any more confidence."

The incidents were as follows:

* Towneley Park, Burnley, a man exposed himself to a woman walking her dog on February 3 at 1.30pm.

* Limmy Lane, Loveclough, two female dog walkers were approached by a man who took his trousers down and grabbed one of them on April 13.

The victims, who were aged between 15 and their early 40s, gave a similar description in each of the offences of a white man in his 20s, of slim build, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall.

DI Simon Cheyte said: “We are extremely keen to catch him and have some good leads however, I would still appeal to anyone with any information to come forward to help us with our inquiry.”
