It was a conservative victory all round in the Ramsbottom area in the 2010 elections.
In the areas Constituency(Bury North)David Nuttall seized power for the Conservatives and Ramsbottoms two council wards also stayed blue.
North Manor ward(Holcombe Brook and Summerseat)was held by James Taylor with Ramsbottom Ward(Ramsbottom,Shuttleworth and Holcombe)taken by Ian Bevan.
