EAST Lancashire MEP Sajjad Karim says he accepts the Indian court’s decision to execute one of the Mumbai massacre’s ringleaders.
In 2008 more than 160 people died when terrorists, including Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab, went on a rampage .
Conservative MEP Sajjad Karim was at the hotel at the time with an EU trade delegation. Brierfield-born Mr Karim, who now lives in Simonstone, said: “It is a matter for the Indian court. I accept the decision but I would have taken a different course of action myself.”
