A WOMAN has spoken of her shock after her motorbike-enthusiast husband died suddenly after complaining of an upset stomach.
Billy Craven, 41, of Rishton Road, Clayton-le-Moors, died on Sunday after complaining of feeling unwell. His wife, Elaine, 44, said the factory manager had been sick and thought he just had an upset stomach.
But his condition deteriorated and he died after being taken to the Blackburn Royal Infirmary.
Today Elaine paid tribute to her husband, saying: "Billy was a friend to everyone. The phone hasn't stopped ringing with people who are shocked at what has happened."
The couple were only married in October and they lived with Elaine's son, Joseph, 18.
Billy, a works manager for Metalcraft Plastic Coating, Accrington, also leaves parents, Monica and Tony, sisters Pamela and Mandy and brother Peter. The funeral is on Monday at Accrington Crematorium.
