IS THIS the most patriotic street in East Lancashire?
The Lancashire Evening Telegraph has launched a search to find the area's best-dressed street as World Cup fever grips the nation.
Residents living in Godiva Street, Burnley, think they are the most patriotic after going all out to trim every house on the street with flags and bunting.
Neil Grimes, 16, and his father Patrick have been helping to get neighbours involved in decking the streets with 19 rows of bunting containing 66 flags to fly alongside 40 five-foot wide flags on the side of each house.
Neil, a student at Burnley College, said: "I think this is the most patriotic street around. When England plays all the neighbours' doors are open and we watch it round at each others' house.
"Even our dogs Jazz, Milly and Ollie get into the spirit by wearing England shirts and sitting in front of the television watching the game."
