A HOUSING development of 15 two-bedroom apartments will be built on land off Cranberry Lane, Darwen, after planning permission was given by council bosses.
They will be built on land next to Paramount Engineering Works, on the former site of a factory which was demolished earlier this year.
The L-shaped building will have a new access off Cranberry Lane.
There will also be a play area and parking for 12 cars.
The proposal was approved by Blackburn with Darwen Council subject to conditions.
