YOUNGSTERS from Coates Lane Primary School, Barnoldswick, prepared for the start of Pendle Cycle Festival with a guided ride to Salterforth Park.
The Festival is promoted by Pendle Council to encourage people of all ages to cycle more.
The first of this year's main programme of guided rides takes place on Saturday with a ride along the towpath from Pendle Heritage Centre to Greenberfield Locks, Barnoldswick.
To take part, people should turn up at the Heritage Centre in Barrowford for the 11am start.
