A Chinese New Year workshop will be held at Rossendale Museum, Whitaker Park, Rawtenstall, on Sunday, January 29 from 1.30pm-3.30pm.
Visitors can find out how the new years are named and take part in craft activities, including making a lion toy and a mask to take away.
It is suitable for children four to 10 years, who must be with an adult. Admission £1.50 (adults free).
