A HUSBAND and wife singing duo are to star at a concert being held to help raise cash for the Rossendale-branch of the NSPCC.
Singer Miranda Bevan of Ramsbottom will be appearing alongside her husband Kenny Orr and other friends of Opera North who all provide A Little Light Music songs from the shows.
The concert will be the third successive money-raising event by members of the Opera North and will be held at St Nicholas with St John Church, Newchurch, on Sunday, January 29.
Last year's concert raised more than £900 and this year organisers are hoping to reach the four-figure mark.
Admission is £5 and tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre, Kay Street, Rawtenstall, Bookworm, Bank Street, Rawtenstall .
