A COMPANY in Fence has received an award for the quality of its service.
Staff at Panaz Limited, Spring Mill, who design and make advanced flame retardant fabrics, have earned ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
The company has been working towards ISO 9001 status for the past 15 months. The award assesses customer order response, the relationship with suppliers, internal quality assurance and human resources.
Chief executive Tony Attard said: "I have to thank the efforts of the Panaz team in achieving this status.
"It's a testimony to our determination to provide, and maintain, exceptional levels of quality, not just in terms of products supplied, but also in service, customer support, and internal management systems."
The company hopes its accreditation will give it an edge in the international marketplace.
