A Blackpool ice ace is set to take centre stage in a major new TV show.
Dan Whiston, locally born and a star of the Pleasure Beach's Hot Ice Show, will appear in Dancing on Ice, which makes its debut on ITV this Saturday.
He will partner former Coronation Street actress, Gaynor Faye, in the series which will see celebrities including Bonnie Langford and Andi Peters learn ice dance skills under the watchful eye of Olympic champions, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
