AN East Lancashire woman has won a car in Help the Aged's winter raffle which raised more than £350,000 to help fund the charity's work.
Winner of the raffle Dee Bottoms, of Read, near Padiham, was presented with a brand new Vauxhall Corsa Air outside the charity's shop in Queen Street, Great Harwood.
Mrs Bottoms said: "It was such an unexpected telephone call.
"At the beginning I couldn't believe that someone was telling me that I had won a car. I've never won a major prize in my life."
