Becky White has won the silver medal in the women's triple jump at the Norwich Union World Trials and AAAs Indoor Championships at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.
The ex-Blackburn Harrier from Haslingden registered 13.18 metres to finish as the leading brit behind the 13.67m of Tiombe Hurd from America.
White's last jump appeared to be her furthest but she touched the plasticine for a foul.
As so often this season, her main domestic rivals Nadia Williams and Michelle Robinson (formerly Griffith) were behind her in third and fourth with respective distances of 13.03m and 12.48m.
She received her medal from the Chairman of the selection committee which overlooked her for a place in the England Commonwealth Games Team.
