THE East Lancashire Concert Band thrilled the audience at Oswaldtwistle Conservative Club with the first of its monthly free concerts.
Derek Exton of Great Harwood took to the stage to play his euphonium and celebrate his golden anniversary of playing with the band.
Derek has been playing with the band for 50 years after joining when he was just 18.
Featuring music from the shows, jazz and swing, Derek and the band will treat music fans at the Club every first Sunday of the month until June.
The next concert will be take place on Sunday February 5 at 2pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
