Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has promised more signings as his side look to fight their way out of the League One drop zone.

The rookie boss, boosted by Tuesday's home victory against Oldham, told a press conference: "I am trying to bring seasoned pros in who know how to win games.

"Winners and leaders are the type of players we need. There have been a lot of calls made in the last couple of days.

"There is a list as long as my arm of players we have enquired about.

"We hope to bring a couple more players in at least. I'll keep making the calls."

Grayson's number one target is Sheffield Wednesday defender Graham Lee.

Despite having agreed a fee with the club and personal terms with the player, the deal is being delayed by a contract dispute between Lee and his current club.

Despite the setback, Blackpool are said to still be confident of the deal going through.

The Seasiders' relegation battle was given a massive boost with last night's 1-0 win at home to promotion chasing Oldham.

"The three points have given the whole club a lift and to do it with a clean sheet is a manager's dream," said Grayson.
