RISHTON have replaced Kumar Dharmesena as their pro for 2006 with South African all-rounder Vernon Philander.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Cape Cobras, has signed on for the Blackburn Road side after an impressive start to the Supersport Series.
Philander, also known as Pro, has proved to be a class act with bat and bowl. He boasts a top first class score of 168 and a healthy average of 34.64 and has 41 first class wickets at 19.6 apiece.
