I WRITE in response to David Bunting's letter "We must all work to stamp out racism."

What Mr Bunting fails to realise is that every time this government and local councils decide to ban something that is British culture then this increases racism from the indigenous British people.

The majority of British people are sick of losing our culture and traditions because it may upset ethnic minorities.

So far, we have had nativity scenes stopped, carol services cancelled, the word Christmas banned and the list goes on and on.

Is it any wonder people are becoming more racist when we are witnessing the takeover of our country but without a war?

Mr Bunting also comments on the 'Irish' joke, well long may it live because, Mr Bunting, that's what it is -- a joke!

Along with the Englishman, Scotsman, Welshman, Pakistani etc., they are jokes and are part of British humour along with "sick" jokes, black humour etc.

It appears Mr Bunting is also one of those who wants to destroy British tradition in favour of ethnic minority ways, culture and it appears even language.

Maybe I am in the minority Mr Bunting, but I will fight to preserve our ways, culture and tradition and anyone coming to our shores should accept our ways or get the next ship, plane, train back home.
