The Seasiders can count themselves slightly unlucky after letting bottom side Swindon off the hook at the County Ground on Saturday.
Jason Wilcox and Keigan Parker rattled the woodwork in a much-improved second half. Parker has had a spell out of the first team lately, partly due to suspension, but looked to be back to his best form for this game and, with just eight minutes left on the clock, he looked to have won the game, sneaking in behind the defence to beat keeper, Rhys Evans.
Unfortunately a harsh offside decision cut the celebrations short.
But there were chances at the other end, with big Czech striker Petr Mikolanda missing a couple of golden first half opportunities which could have seen the Seasiders slump even further into despair.
But, as it is, Blackpool remain fourth from bottom - level on points with Tranmere and Rotherham ahead of them but with Bristol City beginning a resurgence.
