IT performed in front of millions of TV viewers on ITV's X Factor -- now the classic jukebox which kept Shayne, Chico and the Conway Sisters entertained is back home in Padiham.

After performing as an extra throughout the series, the reproduction classic Wurlitzer has been signed by the show's finalists Shayne, Andy and Journey South.

Owners Homegames UK Ltd, based on Shuttleworth Mead Business Park, received a top-secret call from the show asking for a jukebox for the contestants' house after spotting the company's website.

It was often in the background during the X Factor and on ITV2's Xtra Factor, and contestants were seen singing round it in the music room, alongside a piano and a stereo.

Now the jukebox is back in Homegames' showroom after its brush with fame.

Director Dave Hoyle said the company has not decided what to do with it yet, although several customers have offered to buy it.

Dave said: "I spoke to one of the researchers and they said they'd very much like to put a jukebox in the X Factor contestant's house.

"They sent some music for us to set up on the jukebox and we delivered it to a secret address.

"It's a 1960s nostalgia jukebox, it's fairly expensive to buy, around £4,500. It's a copy of the One More Time Wurlitzer which is a world famous jukebox.

"It's been signed by Shayne and all the other people. We haven't decided whether to sell it or whether it will be worth something in years to come."

Homegames also gave away a miniature version of the jukebox as a viewers' prize on the show.

All the music was chosen by the show's producers.

Dave added: "They had renaissance classics to electric 80s, party tunes, modern R'n'B, old standards and old chart hits."
