A man was due to appear at court today following an alleged fist fight inside a circle of 15 men.
Brennan James, 25, of Mill Hill, Blackburn, was due to appear before the town's magistrates charged with a public order offence.
Christopher McGuire, 25, of Mill Hill, was found critically injured near wasteland at the top of Young Street in November.
Mr McGuire remains in Queen's Park Hospital as he recovers from a serious head injury.
Police said that doctors believed it may take a year for the swelling on his brain to heal.
