A 27-year-old man has been jailed for 120 days for his part in the theft of a large-screen TV from Asda.
Magistrates heard Terry Howie entered the shop and put the TV in a trolley and moved it around the store.
He left without the TV and then an accomplice entered, who wheeled the trolley out, the court heard.
Howie, of Whitby Drive, Blackburn, admitted theft. The court heard he had just been sentenced to two-and-a-half years' jail for intent to supply heroin.
