WHAT a difference a month makes, as the Rams continued their disappointing home form against a side they had comfortably seen off at the beginning of September.

On 10 minutes, Anthony Johnson timed his run to perfection and after rounding Joe Molloy, he slotted the ball into the empty net.

Steve Moore popped up at the back post to nod the ball beyond Paddy Kerr to bring Abbey Hey level on 36 minutes.

After a period of Hey pressure, Lee Sculpher decided to introduce Lee Cryer in place of Chris Whittingham, and he almost got on the end of an excellent cross by Johnson but his outstretched leg failed to direct the ball into the vacant goal.

Then on 70 minutes the Rams fell behind to a well taken goal by Wayne Cahill after a probing through ball by Simpson left Matt Raywood stranded.

As the match entered the final 15 minutes, the Rams finished the game in the same fashion as they had begun.

Positive play saw them gradually break down the Hey defence and, although slightly fortuitously, they were back on level terms on 78 minutes.

A goalmouth scramble that saw Carl Webster infringe the Hey defender, ended when Cryer swivelled inside the area and fire an excellent finish into the top corner.

Rams were disappointed not to have been awarded a penalty when Cryer was clearly hauled over inside the area on 82 minutes, only to see the referee wave away the appeals and condemn them to their sixth successive draw.
