FRANK Sinclair has warned that Burnley are out to make it a miserable Turf Moor return for Robbie Blake and Ian Moore.

The two former Clarets strikers have now joined forces at Leeds United, who cross the Pennines for a lunchtime showdown on Saturday.

And Sinclair believes Burnley have nothing to fear from their White Rose rivals following a four-match unbeaten run that has raised spirits as well as the Clarets league standing.

He said: "Leeds are a big club with a big squad and if you speak to anyone there, they would probably say they are a Premier League and should be in the Premier League.

"But it's going to be a tough game for them coming to our place. We did quite well against them last season and this year there will be a few old boys coming back as well, so it should be really interesting."

Sinclair, who should have benefited from a two-week break to ease his recent hamstring troubles, feels Burnley's own new faces are now settling into what is expected of them at Turf Moor.

He added: "It's taken a little bit of time for the new players here to adjust to the way we play, but the manager's ideas are all starting to kick in now and we're starting to play how he wants us to.

"We haven't got the most expensive players in this league, but what we do have is a set of lads who can achieve something if we work hard."

Burnley supporters are reminded that Saturday's Roses game kicks off at Turf Moor at 12.30pm.

Meanwhile, Sinclair's defensive colleague Michael Duff last night earned his seventh Northern Ireland cap.

Duff played at centre back in Ireland's 2-0 defeat to Austria in Vienna, which saw the Province finish fourth in Group Six with nine points, behind England, Poland and Austria but ahead of Wales and Azerbaijan.
