AN inappropriately titled second outing for the Surrey rock-metal trio - there's plenty of moderate toe-tapping, but nothing to demand your presence in the mosh-pit.
Only the manic riffage on Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em satisfies in the uptempo department: Lights Out goes nowhere at a medium canter, and recent single Keep It To Yourself features an empty chorus and some limp shouting.
Renowned Foo Fighters producer Chris Sheldon may have been responsible for bringing strings and ballads to Reuben's album, but he hasn't capitalised on some potentially decent hooks.
And hopefully Sheldon wasn't responsible for the "ironic" drum loops at the start of the lamentable Every Time A Teenager Listens To Drum & Bass A Rockstar Dies.
Quite slow, too long, very safe.
Released September 12, 2005.
