WITH an ex-member of dEUS and Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) in the Millionaire ranks, one could expect great things. One would be disappointed.

Paradisiac is all noise and Alice-in Chains-esque heavy metal dirge, though the odd track stands out.

A Lust Unmatched and Rise And Fall are catchy enough, for instance, while Ballard Of Pure Thought is quite beautiful.

But on the whole, the tunes and the talent are obscured by noise and feedback.

Released September 26, 2005.
