I WAS very sad to read that Blackburn Sea Cadets are now homeless.
My son joined the cadets when he was 13, he is now in his 40s and still in the cadets as an officer helping to run this unit. My two grandsons are also cadets.
This is a first class unit.
The cadets help out at flag day appeals and take part in ceremonial duties at the Corporation Park on Remembrance Sunday.
They are a grand bunch of youngsters, some of them have gone on to serve their country in the Royal Navy.
Time is running out for them and I know the cadets will be devastated if they lose their unit.
So please, is there anyone who can help them with accommodation?
