ALAN Price emerged from the 1960s British Beat Boom when his band The Animals became the first British group after The Beatles to chart a Number One single in America.
The band was a huge success thanks to Price's hypnotic arrangement of The House of the Rising Sun in 1964.
Now there is a chance for fans to hear the Alan Price story in his own words and music when he comes to the Thwaites Empire Theatre, Blackburn, on Monday, November 14. Tickets are on sale now from the box office on 01254 680137.
