NEWLY-WEDS jilted at the altar by church organist Guy Pomfret today got a full and public apology - complete with music - before millions of television viewers.
As we revealed on Wednesday Andrew and Donna Fogarty were devastated when Guy walked out of St Luke's Church, Blackburn, in a row over his fee after he discovered the wedding was being videoed.
The couple repeated their story today on GMTV's breakfast programme.
Then they were stunned into silence as Guy was wheeled onto the set playing the wedding tunes they had chosen on an electric organ.
Andrew said the couple had never received an apology.
Then Guy admitted: "If I could turn back the clock I would do."
Asked by Eamonn Holmes whether he'd been "a bit of an old spoilsport", Guy admitted he had, but said the issue had not been completely over money.
The TV company has dubbed the music, including Love Divine and the Wedding March onto the silent video as a lasting keepsake.
