CUPID didn't take any time when it came to working his magic on Christine Bell and Geoff Wearing.

The lovestruck pair are tying the knot less than three months after meeting through the Lancashire Evening Telegraph's "Two's Company" dating service.

Geoff, 35, from Rishton, swept Christine, 40, off her feet in the whirlwind romance after responding to her advertisement in the newspaper back in August. Mother-of-two Christine said: "One day he just turned up on my doorstep so I thought I'd better ask him in for a cup of coffee.

"Then he asked me to go out that night so we went for a drink at the Station Pub in Cherry Tree, Blackburn, and we hit it off straight away.

"After that we saw each other most days and then he proposed to me about a month ago.

"I said yes straight away and I have never been so happy.

"We have both been married before so it is second time around for us but this time is for good."

Geoff, who has also got two children, knew Christine was the one for him almost straight away.

He said: "We just clicked and it felt right.

"When I answered the advert it was just a light-hearted thing - I never expected to be proposing to someone a couple of months later.

"It has taken us both by surprise but we can't wait to get married now."

Christine and Geoff will tie the knot at Blackburn Register Office on Saturday November 18. They will live in Andrew Close, Blackburn.
